HMONG FARMER MEETING – April 14, 2021

SELLING TO 2ND HARVEST FOOD BANK

WHAT:  COVID-19 has impacted everyone, including Hmong farmers. Many Hmong farmers were not able to sell their goods in 2020. If you are a Hmong farmer, has been impacted, and would like to find a place to sell your produce this summer, this meeting is for you.

This meeting is not for the Dane County Farmers’ Market.

This meeting is for Hmong farmers to meet with Scott Williams from Garden To Be, a wholesale distributor of Wisconsin grown fruits and vegetables, and Bob Fanning from 2nd Harvest. They would like to buy produce from local Hmong farmers. The goal is for interested Hmong farmers to meet, ask questions and explore potential vendor contracts with Garden To Be for summer 2021.
