As a community base organization The Wisconsin Hmong Association would like to introduce you our partner Lakeview Elementary School & MMSD. This partner are focus on similar goals and values as our organization, to help preserve our roots, culture, and identity as Hmong(Hmoob) though education.
Lakeview Elementary School & MMSD
In the MMSD Hmong heritage bilingual program, native Hmong speakers and native English speakers who have Hmong spoken in their home have an opportunity to maintain and develop their first language while acquiring native-like communication and literacy skills in a second language. Academic content is taught and assessed in both languages, Hmong and English, over the course of the school year. We offer bilingual programming for students in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade!
